PENELOPE
Draft Script: Version III draft II
This retelling of Homer's The Odysseus is told entirely from Penelopes perspective. The viewer only knows what Penelope knows. As the story evolves it becomes clear the hero is Penelope and not her husband, although the cleverest on men the who defeated the Trojans with his trick of the wooden horse. Whilst Oydessus is lost for ten returning home, she defends the kingdom through cunning and strength against those who would marry her, usurp her husband and kill their son.

As King of the greeks, Agamemnon says of Penelope 'Her Fame will never die...' and it hasn't.

With one exception the script only uses lines of speech directly from Homer's poem and follows Hitchcock's concept of pure cinema.
